Can you tell us a little about your background and how you became an AI-based architect and artist?

I graduated with a B.Arch degree from the University of Asia Pacific in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, I am an architect, and I am deeply involved in exploring AI-based architecture and fashion-related experiments. In Bangladesh, very few people are practicing AI-based architectural experiments, so I’ve had to take an independent approach. You could say I’m an AI-Based Architect and Artist, as I merge the technological possibilities of AI with my architectural and artistic vision.

How do you see the role of AI in your art and architecture?

To me, art is a beautiful freedom, a way to express everything within our inner soul—the truth of who we are. Sometimes, what we feel may seem surreal or unrealistic, but we still want to experience and express those emotions. AI has become my medium to explore those complex imaginations. Whether it's creating colorful, mystical, adventurous, or sorrowful worlds, AI allows me to bring those ideas to life. It helps me escape from the confines of reality and live in a realm of my imagination. My background in architecture, especially in parametricism and dynamic computational forms, also inspires me to approach AI-based designs with a mix of structure and creativity.

What inspires you the most in your artistic journey?

There was a time in my life when I went through a long period of sorrow. During that time, I often imagined serene, beautiful, and even strange places as a way to escape from those hardships. These imaginations became the core inspiration behind my AI art experimentation. AI gives me the freedom to explore anything my curiosity leads me to. It’s like stepping into a world where creativity has no limits. My architectural background also drives me to experiment with AI-collaborative design, allowing me to refine and achieve more effective results.

What are the biggest challenges you face while working with AI?

The biggest challenge is controlling AI to capture the clear, unique vision of my ideas. To tackle this, I follow two important rules. First, I don’t use tools like ChatGPT when generating the core of my ideas. I believe that the essence of our imagination should come directly from us, to ensure the resulting images or concepts retain purity and originality. Second, I avoid using other artists’ or architects’ names in my prompts. Instead, I describe the specific physical features I want. This approach helps me maintain the authenticity of my work while pushing myself to better understand AI through continuous learning.

Can you share more about your experiences in these fields?

It has been an exciting journey so far. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in various projects, competitions, and collaborations, which have helped me understand AI's potential in architecture and fashion. AI has opened doors for me to explore complex designs and visions that would have been difficult to realize otherwise. These experiences have pushed me to continually refine my methods and expand my creative horizons.

What’s next for you as an AI-based architect and artist?

I’m always looking for new ways to blend AI with my architectural and artistic background. The field is evolving so rapidly, and there are limitless possibilities to explore. I plan to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI, whether in large-scale architectural projects or fashion-related experiments. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and how AI will continue to shape and enhance my creative process.
